Take the car to a local auto parts place and they should be able to scan the computer and give you the code that triggered your check engine light. Most places will run this scan for free. Hi,If you press and hold the reset button on the SID unit the message will go out ,however it might come back on a few times so you may have to repeat this for a couple of days till it stays out.
You will need to change the o2 sensors, your car is running in limp mode (giving to much gas)
