if there was no oil left in the engine then good chance of engine seizing.
do not carry on starting the engine as you will bend the valves.

Do you have the check engine light on?
There are some relays (I think they are in the engine compartment) that could be check. It sounds like a relay problem.
If the check engine is on, it could be a sensor, and the computer is sending the wrong information. Have it check by a professional.

Check to see if the timing belt has broken.

Start by checking all fuses. Inside and under the hood. It may blown one for the computer.

Check the function of the alternator. Charge the battery with a battery charger or jump start the engine. While the engine is running use a voltmeter to check the voltage at the battery posts. Red to + and black to -. You should have between 13.5 − 16 volts. If you do not the alternator is bad or the drive belt is loose. If the alternator checks ok then something is on that is drawing power from the battery and running it down. Check under hood, trunk, glove box, and interior lights. Can also be a brake light switch causing the brake lights to stay on. In rare cases it can also be a stuck relay such as a power window relay. From you description I think you will find the alternator is ok and your problem is something is on and running the battery down.

unfortunately anything could be causing your check engine light to come one. You'll actually need to have it towed to autozone or someplace like that to have the car scanned to determine what is causing the issue

sure you can have the codes checked. but lets look at your coolant temp not raising that tells me your thermostat is stuck open . the thermostat wont cause the engine light to come on and it wont say replace the thermostat it will give you the problems of running a cold engine. (try the thermostat)

Pull out the spark pugs so, there is no longer compression. Put a wrench on the crankshaft pully. The engine will turn and the pistons will travel up and down. This is of course it the engine hasn't seized. If the engine turns its the starter. Simple.
