To replace the light bulbs simply remove the plastic expansion nuts from the carpet trunk liner and fold back the carpeting. You will see electric wires running into some clearish, white looking clips on what looks like bolt studs. Grab these wiring loom clips and remove them. Under the clips are the bolt/nut assembly that fastens the light lense assembly into place. Use a 8mm deep socket and a 1/4 inch rachet. Once you remove the bolt/nut assemblies, go outside the car and remove the lense assembly. Be careful not to break the plastic locator pin in the lense assembly. May require some light wriggling to get it loose. Once loose, disconnect the wiring looms from the bulb sockets and replace. Installation procedures are the reverse of removal.

To clarify my post, driver side rear brake light does not work when braking. Need help

Easy, jus replace the bulb. No more than $20 and it should b an easy on n off wit little to no tools. But first have someone look at the lights or u and with the key in the on position engine off and lights on, does everything light up? If yes good. Then have have the person or yourself step on the brakes and if the passenger side brake light do light up and obviously not ur driver side then its and easy bulb replacement.

Change brake light . How to get at bulb ? Driver side brake light is burned out . I need to replace it . How do I get to the bulb ?

open trunk and pull back carpet around light. Remove 2 nuts, then the tail light needs to be pulled out because it is held in by a clip that can be snug at times. Once out you have access to all lights on that side.

2007 dodge ram 4.4 beeps when i press the brake pedal but the tail light is out on the left side also. And when you turn on the left blinker it goes crazy fast and no light in the light assembly. Help?

If you have a beebing noise every time you press on the brake, it is because a tail light is burnt out. There are two filaments in each brake light. Therefore, when you turn on your hazards, it will appear that both tail lights work properly. The beebing warning sound is actually a feature that Dodge put in the Rams so drivers would know their tale light is out. Just replace the tail light bulb, and the beebing will automatically cease. To get the tail light housing out, you will need a torex screw driver. Also, you twist the bulb housing out as opposed to pulling it out. There are three prongs that twist out.

How do I replace rear passenger side brake light on a 2007 Hyundai Sonata

There is an 'access panel' in the trunk liner right behind the tail lamp assy. Loosen wingnut to release cover. Now you have access to the bulb sockets. Be sure you replace the bulb with the same type (dual filament).. otherwise you could cause a short circuit between the 'parking lamp' and the 'brake lamp' circuits.
