I have a 2006 jeep grand cherokee limited 5.7 engine. ''SPARE LOW PRESSURE'' light will not go off. There's no problem with my tires. How can I just turn it off, reset it or turn it off permanently?

This is so obvious. Did you drop your spare and check the tire pressure. I had the same thing happen to me and the spare tire was low on air.

It is from my understanding that if anyone of these tires are replaced inividually, it will throw off the entire computer system for the tire pressure readings.

If this is true for your situation, consider replacing the other three. If not, go to a local parts dealer and ask to have a (free usually) diagnostics test be done (only takes a few minute) and they can reset the codes.

If this does not work, consider next, taking it to a dealership (Jeep) for servicing.

Spare low pressure light stays on

TPMS
the tire pressure must be at door jamb spec, is it?
get any tire store to scan it? it shows, pressure, temp and ID

the tire must be scanned to see why.
buy the tool
or get it scanned,
there are only 2 ways.

the jeep will autolearn new sensors. btw.
they even work parked once activated (new)
driving activates them (as they spin a switch closes to do that)

the fsm covers this,
if you need the page can send.

Does the jeep pick up the pressure on the spare tire even though it is not on the vehicle? all the tires on my jeep have good pressure but I still have this spare low pressure warning.

Same problem here..." spare low pressure warning."
Even after put putting correct air in spare...warning goes away but then comes back after several months.

Let me know if/when you or anyone else finds a solution.

Thanks

What is the warning light that looks like this (!) on a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee

We had that too - it was the tire pressure sensor. one or more of your tires may be low. Get them checked/inflated to proper psi and see if it goes away.

Exclamation mark with horseshoe light is on

it is the tire pressure monitor. It means one of your tires has low air pressure.

My tpms light stays on and i checked the tire pressure they are all at the right pressure?

Are you sure??, The pressure is listed on the drivers door frame. Ck the pressure COLD. If unable to check cold, then when tires are warm add 4 psi. Sometimes the spare tire has a sensor, look at the valve stem and see if it looks like the other wheels, if it does, ck the pressure there also.

"Service Tire Pressure System" Warning light comes on every time

first check tire pressure. if ok then calibrate t.p. sensors with weight you have on spare in trunk. if still happens after that you have a faulty tire pressure sensor.

no check all tire they should be all psi rating and then run vehicle for a few miles the light should go off it doesn't then you may need a sensor for one of the tires
