I have a 2006 fwd Honda Pilot lx with a hard shifting transmission and the D flashing on the dash each time it occurs . Once the D starts flashing the check engine light comes and the D will continue to flash and will only stop when the ignation is turned off. At times the rpm goes beyound 5 before a shift is archived. Computer diagnosis revealed Error code P0752 -shift Soleniod stuck on A. I have not been able to find a technician who knows what to do and will appreciate any advice to help resolve this problem which I am told may be electrical.

The 1-2 shift solenoid valve on a Saturn Vue 3.6 is typically located in the transmission. The exact location of the solenoid valve can vary depending on the year and model of the vehicle, but it is commonly found inside the transmission's valve body. The valve body is the area of the transmission that houses the shift valves and controls the flow of transmission fluid to control the gear shifts.
It's important to note that accessing and replacing a shift solenoid valve on a transmission can be a difficult and complex task that requires special tools and knowledge. It is not recommended to attempt this repair unless you have experience working on transmissions and have the proper tools and equipment. It's also important to consult the Saturn Vue 3.6 service manual or a professional mechanic or transmission specialist to have the proper steps and safety procedures to follow.
run the fault codes first to check for TCM or servo/solenoids faults
the actuator is vacuum operated so a broken/ missing hose will have effects on gear shifting
The shift linkage bushings and the Shift lever bushings are probably worn. Adjustment of linkage and shift lever is probably needed. If this is beyond your DIY capacity, I'd take to a competent Transmission shop. Or purchase a repair manual from your auto parts store. You will want it again soon anyway if you are a DIYer. filepeep.com may have the manual, or try manualslib.com
have your transmission rebuilt by accredited professional transmission shops that offer a 12 month warranty
you can get transmission from importers and many from reputable dealers are quality units with low miles
stick with the OEM unit as any variations will cause electronic problems
