any time the check engine light is flashing the engine is miss firing, most likly cause is spark plug wires or colis, but also check the wiring harness from the crankshaft sensor to the ignation module they have a bad problem with coming out of the wiring lume and geting melted on the rear exhust manafold...good luck
If the chk engine light comes on and blinks continuously you need to have car looked at IMMEDIATELY. The gm check engine lights will blink to warn owner that there is something seriously wrong and needs looking at.
You can reset these codes by disconnecting the negative side of your battery, has to be the negative side, for 5 minutes and then try it. If the light comes back then you may have a problem.
you have a misfire, the eng light flashes,avoid driving it , or it can damage the cat converter,i dont know what repair was done, but if you replaced the spark plugs one may be damaged, or incorrect plug gap can cause this concern.
if the check engine lught blinks it usually means you've got a lttle problem. steady could mean a bigger engine or transmission problem. My engine light came on, I had it checked it showed a huge vacuum leak. my gas cap needed replacing end of light.
