Question about 1998 Ford Expedition
The brake lights are not working due to fault in brake light fuse.
Or the other reason is fault in wirings if the fuse is checked out OK.
If both the brake light fuse and wirings checked out OK then its time to check the brake light switch.
To find the switch follow the brake pedal up and look for a small black plastic switch with a small wire bundle going to it. Grab hold of the switch and gently try to push up or down on it. Many a times moving the switch solves the problem in other cases the brake light switch needs to be replaced.
