My 1996 Honda Civic has a little over 90000 miles and still runs great. No problems. But I'm being told that I should have the timing belt changed asap or it will break and ruin my engine. I've also been told it will cost $800. To replace. Is this really necessary? Why do I need this done if my car runs fine and why is this so expensive to have done? Someone has told me while I'm at it I should get a new water pump also. Should I?
