Where would I find the radiator fan relay
The cooling fan relay on a 1996 to 2000 Plymouth
Voyager
The SSFR (Solid State Fan Relay) Cooling fan relay is located on the
left front inner frame just behind the radiator.
The radiator coolant fan relay is located on the inside front of the
engine compartment near the left headlight assembly. You have to remove
the air filter assembly, then look for a simple square relay with 4
wires running into it. It is mounted with 2 screws. It is the only relay
at that location. If it has burned, you will need to replace the
pigtail wiring harness.
Remove the air box beside the battery a 10 mm bolt and the relay is a
four prong square box bolted on the frame with two 8mm bolts

Remove the air filter housing, you will see the relay attached to the inside of the frame just behind the rad.

What year is the vehicle? Your coolant temperature sensor may be bad which indicates the system when to turn the electric fan on and off with engine temperature and also a a/c clutch switch that turns the fan on with a/c usage. If the temperature sensor is not operating properly your fan will not come on. Depending on the year, you may have TWO sensors; one is for gauge operation and the other for the PCM and the fan, also known as the ECT (engine coolant temp). It should be a fairly cheap part.

On the drivers side in front of the battery there's a black box i think it says fuse turn counter clockwise the black star looking thing on top of the box when it is loose remove cover there should be two relays one is for the fan and other for ac the inside of cover should identify everything fuses etc. You could try turning on AC that should turn on radiator fan.

remove the cooling fan relay you should have power on the pink and black wire and the solid red wire going to the base for the relay if you do then check then turn the a/c on and check for your ground sigal from the darkgreen and white wire if no ground you have a bad fan control module located on the right side of the engine compartment

Fan relay is either behind driverside headlight or directly beneath that spot next to the radiator, does not look like a regular relay because it is electronic. Behind headlight it's riveted to body. Underneath it has a screw 7 or 8mm kind of hard to get to because of the air filter box and radiator. Common Problem with these vehicles. Turn on the a/c to test quickly after replacement but also make sure the temp sensor activates it about 15-20 minutes later.

Jeep WJ Grand Cherokee
The Radiator Cooling Fan Relay Switch for a 2003 Jeep Cherokee is located behind the bumper on the passenger side underneath the headlight.
There are two ways of accessing it:
1. Remove the bumper.
2. Remove the pasenger side headlight assembly and cut a hole in the plastic underneatch click on the link below for more info.
The relay seems to be a common replacement item for this vehicle. One cause of the failure is that the relay overheats, per a note inserted in the replacement part packaging.
The cutout method is used by dealers. In one vehicle, the relay failed again after 40,000 miles or so. While replacing the relay it was noted that it was secured by one screw and it was not tight. This did not provide thermal contact with the chassis which helps cool the relay. The cause of the second failure was likely due to improper installation. Trying to work through a cutout would seem to make it difficult to get both screw isntalled securely. Furthermore, the new parts today use steel pop rivets for installation to help guarantee it will maintain proper thermal contact with the chassis. The pop rivets cannot be isntalled without removing the bumper.
It is not difficult to remove the bumper and grill to get to the relay. It sounds like a big deal but you are talking a half dozen screws and less than a dozen plastic rivets. The act of cutting a hole and working in cramped quarters has to be more difficult and it does not provide as quality a job.
