The crankshaft position sensor is located on the passenger side of the transmission bellhousing. Remove the two mounting bolts and unplug wires from connector. Install the reverse of removal. Hope this will help you.

Where is the crank shaft positing sensor hookup in the wiring harness of a 94 dodge ram 360

It is hard to get to - the sensor is at the back of the engine mounted through the transmission bell housing. The connector should be within 6 to 8 inches from the sensor. The sensor reads a sensor ring on the flywheel/flexplate.

I have a 2005 dodge ram 5.7 hemi i have changed spark plugs, wires and crank shaft positioning cencer and the check engine light still comes on used a diagnostic and code po300 comes up random multiple...

I had the same problem and replaced the Crank sensor with one from the auto parts store, it lasted a month, then failed. Then I got a sensor from DODGE (dealer) and no more problems. The perameters for those sensors that come from the autoparts store are such that they fit a veriety of vehicles. The one you get from your local dealer is more specific to your vehicle. When this sensor malfunctions, it can created multiple trouble codes, but it's a single fix. Also check that your wires are routed correctly.
