Cylinder 2 misfire on a chevy 01 silverado changed the plug plugwire coilpack and fuel injector and it is still misfiring

misfires are from coils and injectors
most likely injectors as they are subject to electronic failures and dirty fuel

No a knock sensor can not make a misfire. Check the coils, plugs and fuel pressure .The random misfires are cause the knock sensor to throw the code.

could be plug or plugwires...have a tuneup maybe ??

p0302 is number 2 cylinder misfire. it could be anything from plug, plugwire, or the coil for that cylinder. check plug and or wire first. have a good day ! p0303 is # 3 cylinder etc.

misfire can also be cause by stop up fuel filter or clogged fuel injectors or weak fuel pump pressure.

Fuel injector should 'click' when working, and a fuel injector tester can light when a signal comes from the computer.

Coilpack for dual cylinder can be switched around to see if the misfire follows the coilpack in question when codes are cleared and it is rescanned.

CYLINDER 2 MISFIRE CAN BE CAUSED BY MANY THINGS LIKE FAULTY OR DIRTY FUEL INJECTOR.BAD SPARK PLUG OR WIRE.BAD COIL.INTAKE LEAK TO THAT CYLINDER OR.LOW COMPRESSION DUE TO WORN VALVES AND RINGS.YOU CAN DO A COMPRESSION TEST IF PLUG - WIRE -COIL - INJECTOR GOOD.

i have a 2001 chevy z-71 5.3L. I keep getting a random/multiple misfire code for cylinder 1 . I have replaced plugs, wires, coil pack(only on #1 cylinder)., and fuel pump. I still keep getting the cylinder 1 misfire code. I put truck on a scanner and watched the cylinders. # 1 misfires at idle but quickly stops misfiring at around 1000 rpms. you can here the engine miss at idle but truck runs great on road . anyone else ever had this problem?

Sounds like the ignition wires,from the coilpack to the plug,or the coilpack itself
