99 rodeo Clutch bearing pulls out

I know its an old topic, but this deserves an answer! Many people have had this problem because some aftermarket parts are not made properly. I found bad ones at Checker and Auto-Zone. The hardened steel ring within the pressure plate fingers needs to have a recess machined to exact specs. The release bearing, spring steel wedge-collar and ring assembly must engage fully into that recess with only a few thousandth of an inch clearance on the side. I looked at 5 different assemblies before I found 1 that was close to the original equipment tolerances. If you insist on aftermarket parts, check the assembled fit against how your original parts fit. My suggestion is to buy OEM parts from the dealer or online.
