Hello,I can help you with your buick oil pressure problem. This is the 3800 engine correct? Is engine noisey? Would be best to install a mechnical oil pressure gauge on your engine to see if you are actually losing oil pressure or we have another problem. this tells you exactly what the engine is doing. If you do not have one the cheapest thing to try is replacing the oil pressure sending unit.if sender is defective it will cause your problem. This sending unit is above the oil filter.

replace oil sending unit its not hurting the car if your oil is full end the light is still on then you have a bad oil sending unit cheap to fix yourself
