Hi: 1st thing to check is your Power Steering Switch,its located right on your Power Steering return Line. Just Replace that 1st,its around 10-$13.00,If your problem still exsists,Your powersterring pressure switch may haved a loose connection or has went Bad.Try replacing the switch before buying a new power Steering Pump,The Power Steering Pressure Swith is around $35.00.Or Go Ahead and Get a New Power Steering Pump after you have changed the filter.Power Sterring Remanafactored Pumps run around $75.00- $90.00,there are 2-Types of pumps to Fit your Model, 1-with Vacum Assist,And 1-With Hyroboost. Belt is "good" but is it TIGHT? Pulley spinning on p/s pump shaft/shaft not turning?
yes the belt is tight, the pulley is spinning the shaft on the pump.
