Just to add to hohox5's solution, the ABS sensors are per wheel, and there is a VSS ( Vehicle Speed Sensor ) on the rear axle.

Could be a dirty VSS connector, but this is the more common solution on the 04-08 MY trucks.

I have a 2002 Cadillac Deville and a few weeks ago three lights came on at once: Traction Control, ABS and Brake light are all on in my dash. Did something get disconnected? How can I repair this?

have the code pulled from the computer to find out what set the lights on.the traction control works off of the abs sytem and so if theres a problem its not uncommone for both lights to come on.the brake light and abs lights on at the same time means there is a possible serious problem

just look for the blackened/burned pin on the rear light plastic connector and sand it down to re-establish a good electrical connection and save yourself $800 big ones on replacing the multiswitch.

CHECK TURN SIGNAL FUSE.IT COULD BE BLOWED OR YOU HAVE FAULTY TURN SIGNAL SWITCH.BECAUSE BACK LIGHTS AND TAIL LIGHTS SHARE SAME CIRCUIT WITH TURN SIGNAL SWITCH.

The light comes on with a little symbol underneath but they checked the breaks a week ago and said everything was fine

I'd love to post a nifty solution, but we need to know which light comes on - Check Engine? ABS? BRAKE?
If you could check the OBD-II computer code, that could help point you in the right direction too.

ANyway - here's something helpful - the hydraulic brakes are almost entirely independent of the ABS system - and if the light is the "BRAKE" light - since the brakes were checked a week ago, the that points to the ABS (Anti-lock Braking System).

The bad news - mechanics need special training and tools to tackle ABS, and ABS repairs are correspondingly expensive. So you may choose to do what my buddy with a 95 Monte Carlo does - just drive around with an inoperative ABS system, and depend on the hydraulic brakes in all circumstances.
If you live in a snowy/northern climate/Canada, you may consider an operable to be a safety necessity.

Abs brakes making noise.

Well the abs light reads wheel speed sensors located behind the rotors you will see a little wheel with notchs in it and when reads as if the wheel is locked up it will activate the abs i would inspect those sensors for damage possible one got bent or has junk on it interfearing with the signal and take it back to the place that did the brake job hope this helps
