Alot of times with the elantra the low beam bulbs blow alot (this bulb is H7) alot of times its do to the bulb being a cheep china jobby a good brand ive found in my elantra is GE or heliolite you could also try a good HID kit for your lows

as for the highs this is the imfamus H1 bulb it hs a tendenct if breaking free from its metel base and going out of focus of your high beam reflector (try GE or heliolite bulbs there usualy pretty good)

i installed hid lights high and low on my car and i never had this problem since

i hope this helps (also make shour your bulbs are seated good and the connectors ar also seatd properly this will insure that you know there connected good)

and good luck

Headlight keep melting my headlight mount

some of the new bright white light systems have to have cooling fans either in the end of the bulb or in the housing. It sounds like yours has failed.

'year make model' is needed in all questions in this category :>D

Highbeams do not work on Elantra GT 2004... regular beams work fine. Fuse keeps popping.. Any thoughts?

remove the headlight bulbs and retest; if a new fuse does not blow
one of the bulbs is shorted if the fuse does blow check the high beam wiring for a short if none is found replace your high beam switch

My 2005 Hyundai Elantra is going through headlights like there's no tomorrow!

I have found this many times wit some aftermarket bulbs, but the most common problem is that because the wire clip that holds the bulb is so hard to get to (unless you do it every day) it may get bent while trying to remove it. When this happens the bulb vibrates and will blow just from the vibration. Wiggle the bulb to see if it feels loose, if so go to the dealer and buy a new clip. you will need to remove the headlamp to replace it.

It's probably not your alternator. The airbag light would be on for an overvoltage condition.

How to take of the headlight leans to clean it on a 2004 hyundai elantra

most of the time the dullness in the headlight assembly cannot be due to the lens dirt. this is due to poor reflector which has dulled out in the years of use. open the assembly remove the bulb and use good quality liquid cleaners to clean through the bulb opening. use a dry cloth to polish and finish off.

2004 elantra dome light quit working. Bulb has

Hello Janet. Begin by removing the bulb again and cleaning the contact plus the end of the bulb with the eraser at the end of a common pencil. That alone may solve your problem. There is also a fuse. look in your manual to determine which fuse it is and replace it even if it looks ok. Finally, if these things do not solve your problem it may be the switch. If that is the case call an autoelectric shop and they will change it for you for a few dollars.
