We have five recomendation for you. Out of this, SYNTEC oils are most recommended for your vehicles. CASTROL EDGE, SAE 5W-30 PI*, SL 5W-30 - an advanced proprietary formula that provides performance and protection in extreme conditions such as towing, hauling, high and low temperatures, rapid acceleration and stop and go traffic. CASTROL GTX HIGH MILEAGE, SAE 5W-30 PI*, SL 5W-30 - CASTROL GTX high mileage - helps extend the life of your engine. CASTROL GTX, SAE 5W-30 PI*, SL 5W-30 - `superior sludge protection. CASTROL GTX exceeds demanding U.S. high shear and stay-in-grade requirements for viscosity breakdown protection. CASTROL SYNTEC BLEND, SAE 5W-30 PI*, SL 5W-30 - CASTROL SYNTEC blend - CASTROL SYNTEC blend is specially engineered with proprietary CASTROL GTX technology and CASTROL SYNTEC molecular components to provide superior short?trip protection*. * 5W30 AND 10W30 ONLY CASTROL SYNTEC, SAE 5W-30 PI*, SL 5W-30 - IN extreme tests, CASTROL SYNTEC 5W-30 maintains maximum horsepower longer than the leading conventional oil.

It's suspicious this poster keeps recommending Castrol brand. Perhaps he works for Castrol. The fact that we hang on to our old 98 Rav4 implies we can't afford to buy a newer vehicle. I use Walmart brand full synthetic motor oil, which is comparable to the expensive name brands like Castrol. I've shopped around, and Walmart Full Synthetic is the lowest price for full synthetic oil, which they sell in 1-quart and 5-quart containers.

SOURCE: Oil type for '94 Tercel

Hello Seth.
If the temperature you are running until your next oil change is due will be below 50F average they recommend 5w30.
Otherwise 10w 30 is the choice.

Probably what you need is an engine, but if the engine still turns then use ENGINE OIL every four thousand miles .

What gear oil goes in manual transmission 91 Toyota pu 22re. cabanaboy68@msn.com

There are two types of gear oil per say in a car/truck. Did you mean the engine oil or oil for the axle? Either way the engine oil is in the manual for the car, and for an axle you want at least an 80-90w oil.

hope this helps.

How much oil does my tacoma 3l turbo diesal take

the best type of oil for a diesel engine is mobil 1 , and it should be at least 10w40 if not 20w50, I'd call a dealer and ask about the weight. They can also tell you how much oil it will hold, or you can just add one quart at a time until you get it full on the dip stick, I'd say no more that 4-6 quarts total, but I do know that diesel's usually take alittle more that a standard gas engine.

Recommended Brand and Grade of Engine Oil for Toyota 4K Engine

If you use a Toyota 4K engine, most manufacturers both engine and oil companies recommend a 20W-50 GRADE motor oil. We recommend Castrol. However, Castrol is kinda expensive. Try Petron Philippines products that can be purchased at their gasoline station shops. Castrol ranges from 800-850 (4-liters) while Petron oil products ranges from 490-550 only (4 liters). They both share the same addtives for 20W-50 oil grade.

Where is the oil filter on the 2009 Toyota Corolla

I assume that you have a 1.8 engine. The oil filter is in a round metal housing under the engine; you have to remove the housing to access the cartridge type oil filter; the 1.8s do not have a "spin-on" filter.
