You can find the oil type for your year of Mercedes as well as all other years here.
Hope this helps!

Not many cars go over the 5 qt. mark. Some big trucks do, and a lot of small cars stop at 4 qts. If you are not sure, put in the 5 qts, then check the oil. run it into the filter before checking. Hope this helps.

Shouldnt do!
Check that fan is coming on. If is not the fan temp sensor may be dead, or the fan may not have power (I had a bad earth on one)
Also, not sure if this model has a traditional thermostat - these can stick closed, and will cause the vehicle to heat up fast, stay hot, and overheat in traffic

Oil changes every 6,000 miles with new filter too.
New spark plugs, HT leads and distributor cap every 12,000 miles.
Let it warm up properly in the morning before moving off.
Clean air filter or replace ever 12,000 miles.
Clean out the intake manifold with carb cleaner to remove nasty deposits.
That should help your engine last a very long time.
Hope this helps and vote for if you think so. Thanks
