Replace outside temp, sensor and check your refrigerant for recommended pressure, your outside air temperature sensor is located infront of your car, upper/ insidegrille
Thanks for the solution previously provided. The part is identified by Olds as an Ambient Temperature Sensor. Could not find it when searching for an Outside Temp Sensor. It is difficult to locate and even more difficult to get at and replace. Also, you must reset the inside info screen to get a correct new reading (see owners manual). Otherwise, the old incorrect readings will continue to be displayed. The cost was $8.39 for the part.
