Brake light Switch, it is under your brake pedal arm. When you press the brakes the arm pushes the switch to activate the lights. It also works when you have to press the brakes to get the car out of park. The older cars was a basic switch, but the new ones have the safety brake feature to keep a car from being pulled into drive or whatever gear plus it works your lights.

Your brake light switch (aka stoplight switch) is shot. It is located on the upper brake pedal, with an electric plug in. $10 part.

When you replaced the brake light switch did you adjust it so that it contacts when it should?
It isn't enough to just replace it, you need to adjust the pedal height to specifications in order to make the brake lights work correctly.

My break ligths dont flash

Unless both bulb filaments went out, there is a switch that the brake pedal sits on when released. It should be located under the dash above your foot. You shouldn't miss it. When the brakes are applied, the switch pops out activating the lights, it sounds like that switch may be faulty. Hope that works
