I had the same problem my car. It started once in a while until the light would not go off. My husband looked at it and he said the wire on the antilock brake bearing hub corroded and came off. Maybe yours is starting to corrode. My husband said to tell you that there are two wires that come out of the back of the bearing hub. He soddered it together on mine and I hav not had a problem since.

a quick test is to disconnect the sensor connector hook up and ohm meter to the sensor connector on the hub side not the engine side and spin the hub if the resistance rises and falls you're most likely ok if the resistance reads 0 or infinite you have found the bad sensor..this won't always be the case but it's a good start in the right direction

If you have torn or boots with holes in them grease will get thrown out water & dirt gets in wears out joint, you can rebuild joints or get rebuilt ones. normally joints will make noise on full tight turns on acceleration. give me more information for more help

Also not coming to a complete stop before changing gears will cause that as well.
