The windows in my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 stopped going to down all at the same time and now they are stuck in the down position....

It isn't specified. There is more than one fuse that covers transmission. You would need an auto electrician or a transmission expert to connect a pro grade scan tool computer and diagnose if the switch or solenoid is faulty. A scan tool at this level is bi-directional and can command solenoids to operate and confirm that they do.

When did you last replace trans filter and fluid? Dirt may be causing shift valve to stick.

Could be a long list of things, including low fuel pressure, throttle position sensor, EGR valve, dirty air filter, and so on.
Is the check engine light on ?
Does it feel like it is lacking fuel, or air ? Is it not downshifting when it should ?

it's most likey your throttle position sensor (TPS)...

you can google any engine code and get a positive answer most time just type in code and search most times it will show right up

I have seen this many times it most of the time was caused by a leak in the intake or air plenum ,you can test for that using a water bottle with a mist spray around the intake should change RPM.'s as it draws the water in ,telling you the area that is leaking BE CARFULL. YOU NEED TO CHECK THE MOTOR AND WIRING IN DRIVERS DOOR AS THIS CONTROLS ALL DOORS .

remove wiper arms at the shaft, right at the cowl. each will have a nut on them but it is covered by a piece of plastic that will snap up for access. take nuts off and remove wiper assembly. turn key on turn wipers on make sure shafts turn when on, then turn off the shafts to stop in park position. then reinstall wiper assemblies in their park position .
