If it was running ....change gas filter while it is off check if gas is getting to the filter if no gas to filter its the gas pump .but before you remove the tank to change the pump check the fuel relay swich and fuse.

Wont turn over or wont start, if it wont turn over your alternator probably came unpluged or went out then drained your battery, if it turns over but wont start you lost the timing chain
