SOURCE: best tires for 2007 Lexus GS AWD

For a GS350 AWD : MICHELIN P225/50R17/XL 98V.

Michelin is the safest, "quietest" and best tire on the market. Once you get past the sticker shock the longevity and ride performance far outlasts anyting else on the market.

If you are not in a climate that has snow, choose the Primacy HP series 225/50R 17 94V.

Either will do but go Michelin for your vehicle.( no...I don't work for Michelin...just bought alot of them over the years)

SOURCE: HID low beam headlight replacement for 2003 lexus es300

The HID bulbs are very easy to change, and can be bought online for much less than from the dealer. Check sites like xenondepot and Ebay for Phillips D2R (for reflector headlamps) HID bulbs and you can replace them yourself.

SOURCE: how to change lexus 2006

the ballast is part of the HID headlight assmbly, is that what u have? if so then here is how to replace the assembly or also just the ballast once the headlight is out.
1.Open the hood of your 2006 Lexus and locate the mounting screws on the top of the headlight assembly.

  • 2 Unscrew the mounting screws using a screwdriver.
  • 3 Slide the headlight assembly forward and unplug the power connector from the back of the Lexus' HID ballast on the back of the xenon headlight.
  • 4 Slide the headlight assembly out of the vehicle.
  • 5 Turn the headlight bulb counter-clockwise and pull it out of the headlight assembly to remove it.
  • 6 Install the headlight bulb into the new housing assembly. Installation is the reverse of removal. Make sure you align the tabs on the bulb with the notches in the back of the new assembly and turn the bulb clockwise to lock it into place.
  • 7 Reconnect the power connector and reinstall the headlight housing and secure it with the factory mounting screws.

Hi, I have a 2007 Lexus GS350 and after replacing the Xeon bulb the "Check Headlight" warning is still on, any idea how to reset? Thanks, Jeff

    HI,
Looking online I'm not finding anything obvious.

Is it a 'Lexus' bulb? A specific bulb may be required to properly 'connect' w/the car's computer system.

Check your Owner's Manual and/or call the Dealer for more info.

What causes check engine light to come on GS 350 2007

Too many causes. The best way to know what causes the check engine light to turn on would be to connect the diagnostic tool and read the codes. If you are new to this, take your car to any professional mechanic, and he will diagnose your vehicle for free mostly.

Need to replace my Michelin tires, what kind should I get for my 2007 Lexus GS350

The Continental ExtremeContact DWS tires have great handling characteristics, quieter than the Michelin and more durable tread. Will easily get 2x the tread life over the Michelin.

My 2005 lexus rx 330 (passenger side) has condensation. Is the best solution to replace the headlight unit? I also have a extended bumper to bumper warranty, will this be covered?

Usually, the quickest/easiest solution is the replacement of the headlamp assembly. Your warranty provider may see it otherwise, but with an extended warranty, the seal failure should be covered.

You can try removing the bulb yourself and allowing the lamp to dry, then checking to see if the problem persists within a reasonable amount of time to ensure that it is in fact a bad seal, or you can submit warranty service to your provider.
