I have to replace some rusted brake lines on my 2000 chevy pickup, so I would like a diagram of this.

glennerick, soak them with WD-40 or similar penetrating lubricant, respraying 3 or 4 times a day for a couple days (more days if you have the time). The connections will be too corroded for a wrench, so use vise grip pliers to separate connections. It isn't easy, but it's the best way. As far as the brake line diagram, just replace a section at a time using the old lines as your guide. You can carefully bend them to roughly match the original. They don't have to be exact, just make sure they don't hang down where something can snag on them from the road, keep them away from moving suspension parts (shocks) and don't let them touch exhaust components. If you need further help, let me know. You may want to just hack saw thru the lines so you can get it in a vise to easily remove the rusted lines. (or even bring it to a parts store and get a new connection).

WOW that's high. They are correct to want to replace all the lines, 'cause they could be liable if another one goes right after they fix it, and another probably will. I plow snow, and my trucks brake lines have been changed twice, due to road salt. I would get at least 2 more estimates. It is a nasty job, as everything you try to take off is rusted up bad, but I'm sure u can do better , possibly a private garage. There are stainless steel lines available on the internet, but not sure if your model is available. They cost a lot more than regular steel, but if u don't plan on keeping the car another 8 yrs. go for cheaper steel. good luck countrycurt0

SOURCE: I need a serpentine belt/routing diagram 2000 chevy tracker.
For the 2000 Chevrolet Tracker:
Most modern vehicles have the Belt Routing Diagrams on the undeside of the Hood. But the sometimes disappear.
I do not know if you have the 1.6L In-Line 4-Cylinder, or the 2.0L DOHC In-Line 4-Cylinder. Nor what Engine Options you have (AC/No AC, etc.).
Let me know if this helped, or if you have additional information or questions. Feel Free to contact me at FixYa.com!
