Does the key have a chip in it? If it does, read the resistance accross both sides of the key chip on the 20k scale, buy a 96 cent pack of resistors from Radio Shack, and solder together a set of them that equals near 2% variance of what the key reads,shrink wrap them, try to locate the wiring and solder this resistance set up in the wires, try to start.
Wiring diagram is needed to be sure of the colors and location of wires to be spliced.
I came accross a remedy of some who had a remote control start installed and they stated this eliminated their starting horrors.
When you turn the key to start does it crank or does it make any sort of a noise, like a clicking to the relay?
try tapping the solenoid with a long bar tried just about everything else.
