Try to replace the master relay located above your gas pedal/accelerator. Normally the unit is screwed to the car body/frame underthe dashboard. It happened to me and my friend, once the relay was replaced, the car was back to normal. Worth

A very common problem. You need to replace the "PGMFI" or "main" relay. It's up under the dash on the drivers side. It will have "Mitsuba" written on the side of it. I you are handy with a soldering iron, you can pop the cover off and resolder the terminals of the two relays inside the box.. For a ton of info on this, just google: "honda main relay"

Went through puddle during raining day,the car started smoking never shut off.It started up with no problem the next day,but later that night it shut off while driving and now won't start 2010 accent

When you say "now won't start" does the starter motor spin the engine the engine just never fires, or does the starter motor not even spin the engine? Do all the electrical accessories seem to work correctly? How deep was the puddle? Did the "smoke" smell like something melting, or might it have just been steam from water on the hot exhaust?

My BMW 2001 shut off while I'm driving it, but sometime will start back up but not all the time

I would check the wiring that goes to the ignition coil. That coil may be bad and would die when it got hot and restart when cold. Check for voltage at the wire connecting that coil. Other bad wiring could be at the ignition switch, so wiggle wires under the dashboard that go to the key/ignition parts.

My 91 honda civic has a problem starting sometimes. It starts in the morning. Sometimes it will not start on a hot day and it will just shut off while driving occaisionally. Often it must cool off before...

It will be the main relay. It is a massive fuse under the coin tray. The joints become dry and need re-soldered. A very common problem on these cars.

The clunk is the starter engaging the flywheel, check that it is properly seated, a bolt might have come loose.

WONT START AFTER DRIVING. WAIT 1 HR THEN STARTS, HAVE REPLACED FUEL PUMP, TUNED UP AND CHANGE FUEL FILTER. TRIED BANGING TANK. HAPPENS WHEN WEATHER HOT AND HUMID

This sounds like a bad ignition module. They can be tricky to diagnose. You said it would give more trouble on hotter or very humid days. These are tale tale signs that it is in the beginning stages of failure. Pull it off and have it tested at your local auto parts store. These are usually tested for free. Make sure they test it several times to warm it up. Remember it doesn't have the problem until it is hot. Hope this helps. Good luck.
