How to remove a broken key from your car's ignition lock

Get a flat blade screwdriver and turn the ignition swith to lock and get a paperclip straighten out one end and put a small bent on the end ( small L shape ) put the bend end in and try to hook the key and pull it out. Good luck

the linkage from the handle's must have come off or is broken , try to remove the window weather strip so that you can slide a thin piece of rigid wire , a straightened coat hanger is ideal ,with a bend on the end and hook the latch open that way , then remove the door panel to see what needs repairing , or get a 'slimjim' aka car thief

Check the hard wire that moves the heater damper flap, it often gets bent and will get stuck in one position, hot or cold. Commonly sheathed in a blue plastic ~1/8" tube. Both ends can get bent if there is excessive gunk buildup at the ends or on the lever arms (rust, dirt, dried soda, etc.) They also just come loose after time and slide in the pinch clips that hold them in place. Be VERY careful if it is bent and requires straightening. The wire is strong enough for a few bends, but don't over-do it!

try a thin but strong piece of wire , a metal coat hanger straightened out is fine, put a hook on one end and carefully slide between door and frame and get the hook on the lock button and pull,you will need patience !

if you can turn the lock to acc position then kjust push the pin in and pull the barrel out
