Get a number 10 metric or a 7/16" socket and feel at the base of the seat bottom....should be two bolts holding the seat to the floor one on each side, use your light and perhaps you will need to peel back the carpet going to the seat bottom.

Don't know the location of the coil is on a 1986 Chevette 1.6

Look at the center of your distributor. There will either be a wire which looks like a spark plug wire or there will be a plastic cap held on by small bolts. If you have a wire follow it baqck. It plugs directly into the coil. If you have the plastic cap, the coil is under the cap. If you need to replace it. pay close attention to how it comes apart, lay things out in the order they come off. There are spacers and insulators that need to go back in the same spot for it to work. Hope this helps.

How do i replace the clutch in my 1978 chevette

Go to the local auto parts store and get a repair manual on your vehicle. You will need it as you will need instructions on removing the transmissions and then removing the clutch and bearings and re-installing them.

I have a 86 chevette 1.6 rough idle when put into gear.

It may have a vacuum leak, and /or a dirty carburator that may need to be overhauled.

Glow PLugs and Relays

Good Day
The glow plug relays are located on the right front shock tower. Remove the cover and you will see two relays If I remember I think they are round, but not sure.

Please let me know how you make out and if there is anything else that I might be able to help you with.

Cheers
