Rear ac does not blow cold air on 1999 oldsmobile silhouette

Could be a blockage in the heater hose, or the control valve may be faulty. Could also be low on coolant.

the heater vacuum motor and lines needs to be checked.Also get the blend door checked.

You may have an issue with the mixing door found under the dashboard. It may be stuck or the actuator that moves it may be faulty. Check also the linkages if they are OK.

IT RUNS REAR AC.AND AIR SHOCKS...I JUST HAD TO HAVE MINE REPLACED MECHANIC SAID IT RUNS AIR SHOCKS AND REAR AC...

you probuby have dual ac and one is not operating check. fuses relays and if necissary have 134A checked

Hello.Maybe I can steer you in the right direction. There is an actuator temp,door motor.It may be hard to find,but most of them are on the bottom of the blower box about where the ac hoses and the heater core is,under dash.This motor has gone out,it switches from cold to hot ,and all in between .Hope this is helpful.If not let me [email protected]

Would have him check out side air temp sensor ,thermister and rerove control head and inspect for burned terminal.1st.

I WISH I WAS THERE TO HELP.I DONT RECALL WHERE ANY OF THE VENT VALVES WERE LOCATED BUT IF YOU CANT SEE ANY OR THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS LOOK IN TACT DONT TURN IT INTO A WORSE PROBLEM.BRING IT IN IT DOESNT NECCISSARLY HAVE TO BE THE DEALER IF YOU HAVE A RELIABLE MECHANIC OF YOUR OWN.IVE REPAIRED MANY CARS THAT WERE ATTEMPTED TO BE REPAIRED BEFORE BEING BROUGHT IN AND THE BILL WAS A LOT HIGHER.GOOD LUCK
