My car will just die when driving down the road. I could get it started by putting it in nuetral and restarting it. I had a tune up done and now it will not start that easily. I have looked everywhere for a repair manual and can not find one.

That is where you put the new plugs in it it is burning the extra gas and oil that was in the cyclinder it should clear up.if not you could have more problems then tune it up.
a bad crank sensor causes a car to shut down while driving down road. and will not start back up for about 10 minutes. have car scanned to read the problem codes. any auto parts stores will scan for free.
Hi,let me ask you something, have you done a major tune up?Plugs wires and fuel filter?Try this if you haven`t done a tune up.If I can help you in anyway let me [email protected]
It sounds like your car needs a good solid tune up. It sounds like the injectors are fighting to get fuel so the slower you go the chances of you stalling is even greater. And the faster you go the fuel system is just getting just enough fuel that the car needs to keep running.....I hate to say this but it sounds like you need a tune up.
I read this in a blog and it worked for my truck. I cleaned the throttle body and the air filter. It seems to be starving for air when you are just at idle cause it would not die when I was going down the road. Only if I was pulling into park with the rpms really low. Just pull the intake off and clean the throttle body. You will see a bunch of gunk. Clean it until it turns silver again.
Sounds like a fuel pump issue. Confirm readings with a fuel pump gauge. Post the psi readings so I can see them. I'm away from my reference material right now, but I think there is either a TSB or a recall out on the problem you are describing. Check with a dealer to be sure. Have the dealer run yourVIN to see if you're part of the recall or TSB.
