Autozone.com has some great wiring diagrams. I looked and your Jeep seems to be there. Go to Vehicle Repair Guide>chassis electrical>wiring diagram. Hi, the seat is powered thru circuit breaker 2. The wiper is powered thru fuse 8. Both are in the interior fuse box. Since these circuits are unrelated, the problem may be in a connector under the carpet. I recommend tracing the seat wires from the seat to the fuse panel to see if maybe a connector is getting wet or corroding. Also check to see if there is a corroded grounding strip under the carpet.
