Hi IM AL the owner of Big As Auto Repair
The cycling switch is what keeps the system from freezing up and comes in different forms for instance. Some vehicles is located inside the a/c housing close to or pushed inside the evaporator, on other vehicles it's the low pressure switch. NO, you do not have to much Freon because if you did the high side pressure would go well past 350 to 400 psi. I would google how to change the cycling switch on your vehicle and watch the video. Hope this helps and have an awesome day. AL with Big A's Auto Repair.

SOURCE: location of low pressure port A/c to added 134a
Down low between the radiator and the engine. Look for the cap. Very hard to reach without burning your hand if the engine is hot. I had to rig a much longer hose to add 134a so the can would be upright while putting it in.

check your orifice tube if its plugged up it will give you a high reading.

Yes... you are most likely low on freon as the compressor will cut on low pressure before vacuum.Depending on ambient temps and head pressures your running ,you may see low side pressures at 50. Automotive refrigerant (134a) is not far from matching the degress to low pressure....for instance 50 lb low side pressure will give you approx 60 degrees cooling at the vent.Once cabin temperatures are met is when you can expect that suction pressure to lower and stabilize. You would be better off watching high and low pressures to get the full picture of whats going on here...good luck

Is the air actually blowing into the car?But it's just hot?It sounds like your blower motor is not turning to blow air.you have a fuse, check the switch that controls the blower, and the blower motor it self.
