Lost keys for 1999 jeep grand cherokee how do i

The security alarm and engine immobilizer are functions of the Body Control Module (BCM) and the ECM. You can't just pull fuses. When the battery goes completely flat, or is disconnected, you just need to reset the Security System which is done via the Remote Fob.

If the alarm goes off, it its because it was armed in the first place. You mist disarm it before entering the vehicle. To disarm it push the remote control unlock button or open eithe front door or liftgate using the key in the keylock.

alarm or Immobilizer, which? its 2 things,
one prevents(lol) entry, other kills engine fueling,.(immo) (theft)

you stated bypass, what is that. mean.?
hack it and defeat for ever.? and which part?
or to just not enable the alarm part?, as stated clearly in the operators guide, (lost that>)?
if you use the metal key on the door lock this will disable (for now)
the alarm. mines been off for 5 years,now..
but the IMMO is not hackable.99+ sorry not.


1999 and newer skim keys (immo) is not hackable.
and if it were, id never tell you, ..... but its not.

the older cars are.... but you can google as well as me....

take the key and unlock passer door that will turn it off

go to nearest dealer and will have to purchase new fuel cap and they will be able to re-tumble new lock to your key and remove old cap

there is a special tool to program it, unless you have two valid keys.

dude it wont work but u gotta use the keyless remote to disable ur alarm! its in the manual under security like page 200's

i have a 95 jeep grand cherokee lerado from time to time my alarm goes off i dont have a remote 4 my alarm but i found out that if you put the key in the driver door and unlock it. it will reset the alarm!!!!!
