WELL THAT YEAR YOU HAD THROTTLE BODY FUEL INJECTION AND MULTIPORT FUEL INJECTION. IF YOU HAVE MULTIPORT FUEL INJECTION. YOU COULD HAVE DEAD FUEL INJECTOR OR LOW COMPRESSION AND INTAKE LEAK TO CYLINDER 1. CHECK COMPRESSION THAT WILL TELL YOU WHAT HAPPING.YOU COULD HAVE A SLIGHT HEAD GASKET LEAK.

ENGINE CRANKS BUT DOESN'T ALWAYS START 1995 BRONCO 5.8 REPLACED FUEL PUMP RELAY,IGNITION MODULE. AFTER 3 OR 5 ATTEMPTS CAR STARTS AND RUNS FINE

Possible fuel pump. Try turning the ignition key on 3 or 4 times before cranking the engine over. This allows the fule pressure to build up. Hook up a gauge to check the pressure.

It is a 95 cavaler it runs ruff and has no get up and go i just changed the o2 sensor didnt seam to help and its getting bad fuel milege

Tap on the MAS and if it keeps running ruff... or will run without it then replace it as its running in the computer default mode, most likely.

Next I'd suspect/check the fuel injectors. Hows your MPG? oh yeah, bad. Run a can of Seafoam and follow the directions on how to flood and clean your own insides of your engine. This often saves that pricey injector cleaning and your age car must have one bad by now.

Signs: Runnning ruff because its leaking gas into the cylinder.

Pull all the plugs and check their color first. The most leaky one will look different -- you can google up a chart and all haynes manuals used to have them, in color, in them.

O2 sensor only comes into play after the motor has run about 3 mins. First its on computer default mode. Many sensors are not even "looked at" by the computer until its running at normal operating temp.

Fuel pump problems. I have replaced my fuel pump on a 1995 chev 2500. Truck will not start unless i prime it with gas. Fuel is not getting to the motor. What am i missing

you may have an air leak in the fule line from the fule tank this is letting fule run back to the tank when you stop the engine running over night check all the fule pipes are air tight and do not have crossed or striped threds on them

Check engine light

A multi misfire may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
Faulty spark plug or wires, Faulty coil (pack), Faulty oxygen sensor(s), Faulty fuel injector(s), Stuck/blocked EGR valve / passages, Faulty camshaft position sensor, Defective computer.

The engine is stumbling or hesitating, check all wiring and connectors that lead to the cylinders (i.e. spark plugs). Depending on how long the ignition components have been in the car, it may be a good idea to replace them as part of your regular maintenance schedule. I would suggest spark plugs, spark plug wire, distributor cap, and rotor (if applicable). Otherwise, check the coils (a.k.a. coil packs). In some cases, the the problems were faulty fuel injectors.

Random misfires that jump around from one cylinder to another (read: P030x codes) also will set a P0300 code. The underlying cause is often a lean fuel condition, which may be due to a vacuum leak in the intake manifold or unmetered air getting past the airflow sensor, or an EGR valve that is stuck open.

Good luck and hope this information helps, keep me posted, be glad to help you get the truck running 100% again. Not sure if your running a K&N air filter, and if you are there may be a flim of oil on the MAF sensor that is making you run lean. You may want to spray down the MAF sensor with a can of MAF cleaner.

No fule to injectors

Possible bad fuel pressure regulator or more likely, the cam sensor which times the injectors.

Starting ruff

I'm leaning toward a bad sensor, as in throttle body temperature, or coolant temperature sensor. The smell of too much fuel is probably from pushing pedal to start, which shouldn't be necessary on a fuel injected vehicle. What does it do if you leave your foot off the gas pedal during start? As far as fuel filter goes, if it hasn't been done in a while, I'd do it anyway just as preventative maintemance if nothing else.
