2004 Ram 1500 1/2 ton 2WD. Code P0068 is what is coming up. Truck will idle high/low at times and will die sometimes when I stop. Engine light is on, I have checked for vac leaks and cleaned the sensor on the magnum box (MAF?) This truck has a 4.7 v8. I am kind of stuck. Please help if you can. Thank you.

It's a map/tps sensor correlation code, essentially it means the map sensor reading isn't what's expected with the tps reading and vice versa! It sounds like your tps sensor is probably bad or the circuit to one of those 2 sensors.

Hope helps (remember rated this).

Check/clean the MAP sensor and throttle position sensor. This should fix the issue. Its a common problem with Chrysler products.

When is the code detected? The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) monitors operation rationality check by comparing sensed throttle position to mass air flow readings
P0068 DODGE Description The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) monitors a vehicle operation rationality check by comparing Throttle Position (TP) to Mass Air Flow (MAF) readings. If, during a self-test, the comparison of the TP sensor and MAF sensor readings are not consistent with the calibrated load values, the test fails and a diagnostic trouble code is stored in continuous memory.

I have a 2001 dodge ram 1500 4X4, the truck dies in reverse

I have no idea if this relates to your problem or not but a fairly infrequent problem with Jeeps exists in some models if the transmission bolts loosen. Our son's problem also involved backing up (only; forward=no problem) and having the engine cut out as sometimes die. On a Jeep forum, a poster warned that if the hard-to-reach upper bell housing bolts weren't tightened properly, they would loosen and cause this problem.

Truck dies when i go in reverse and sometimes at stop light

P1595 is a code for speed control solenoid circuits, P1492 is for ambeint/batt temp sensor voltage to high, P0305 is for cylinder no. 5 misfire. The first one could be the servo is unpluged or a bad brake switch. The second may be a unplug sensor( battery temp sensor), The third one check your spark plugs and wires.
