Switch behind brake pedal stuck or needs replaced,wrap a good lot of old rag around the brake pedal and spray a little oil up and into the center of switch push pedal to make sure the oil is doing its job lights will go of if oil does its job if this fails then replace switch, oh by the way remove rag .adrian,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Open tailgate you will see screws probably torx thats how you take lights off

hi the fuse you will be looking for will be a 15 amp fuse as the loading is low on light curcuits i don't
know which fuse no as they fitted 4 different fuse boxes on the rams but you should start by checking the 15 amp fuses with a multimeter for continuety or some time hold a torch close to the fuses and you will see the link broken

switch is just above trans pan and below shift linkage requires a thin (crome 1" socket) to remove

you need to find out why they are spongy? fluid low? brake fluid leak? master cylinder problem? ck the fluid level, if its real low, you need to find out where it went.
