Hi Jpenn234.
When was the last time you changed the spark plugs, wires and air filter (Tuned it up)? Check to see if you have spark. If you don't have spark its possible that your Crankshaft Position Sensor, and/or your Ignition Control Module is bad. The parts store can check your Module for free. Hope this helps.

If the security light is flashing when that happens, you need to turn the key to the ON position, and let it sit for 10 minutes, so it can reset the security code. Start it up as normal and let it idle for 5 minutes.

Check to make sure the Security light in dash on right hand corner is not on. If it is on , your passlock is enabled. to dissable it turn your key on but not start it and wait for apx 10-15 minutes. this should re-set it.

you can also try pulling the fuel pump relay under the hood and put it back in. works on my 2000 alero. and yes if the security light is on, you need to turn the key on and wait about 10 min. until it stops flashing, then turn off, then start car.

Hi. You may start looking first at your fuel pump. It seems that the the fuel is not not reaching the engine.
