Search on youtube for "saturn lock cylinder replacement". if you think you can do it, buy a generic lock cylinder at advance or autozone and give it a shot. if it works your ignition keys will not match your door and trunk keys but a dealer will charge you more than the value of the car to put in a new saturn lock cylinder.

My key is stuck in the ignition of my 1993 Saturn and won't move or come out. I thought maybe I had left my lights on last night since the car didn't start and the battery seemed to be dead, but then

Your ignition could be stuck. That happened to me on my 2002 Chevy Malibu with 150,000 miles on it. The ignition sometimes gets stuck and freezes up. You'll have to pull it out and put a new one in. You can use the new key or have it re keyed to fit your old keys.

Car will not start, key will turn but no lights, interior or exterior, no radio....and key is stuck in ignition

under the ignition there is a little tiny hole put the ignition to the on position and stick a paper clip in that tiny hole and you can then pull out the ignition switch. this happened to my daughters car and I did this procedure but somebody playedwith it before my so I had to get a lock smith to get it out and he hadknow idea what he was doing. we got it out but the PCU lost memory and the car wouldnt start. The dealer wanated a lot of money to fix it so I took it to my mehanic and he rerouted it by using a diode and its been running like a charm for 4 years. there are also many vedeos on youtube and other saturn sites that can help

I have a 2003 saturn vue and my key always gets stuck in the ignition. Now I can't even turn the key at all, I really don't know if I have to change the whole ignition or just the part where the key goes...

It needs a new lock assembly. Or you can do as all the car thieves do and buy a slide hammer and pull your lock out and start it with a screwdriver

Put some pressure on the steering wheel in one direction or the other this may take the pressure off the cylinder itself and allow you to do what is needed...hope this works.
