HI,When electrical components such as a stater motor get hot they draw more amperage thus making it harder to turn over the motor. There are 3 possible things going bad (1) Battery (2) Battery Cables (corrosion) (3) Starter. I hope this helps lead you to the proper diagnoses.
It's not the battery ,it seems like to me the fuel presure dies off and it has to pump back up to eng. I did change out the fuel pump out the tank when it went out and i just rensetly cleaned the throttle body. and in the morning it starts up the first time.
