I have a 97 chrysler neo that just dropped all its coolant on garage floor just as i stopped vehicle no coolant in oil or vice versa now car wont start any ideas

Maybe it is transmission oil . If it is coolant change the coolant bypass hose and upper main hose for a start .

Can you see where the coolant is coming from or were it's going? This vehicles are notorious for the lower intake gasket leaking and at times it could mix with the oil. Check your oil level if higher than normal or a milky appearance you may need to chance the gasket and change the oil.

In my opinion, if you drained the coolant and there was NO OIL in it or any evidence ( an oily film in the reservoir), you were the poor victim of a dishonest oil change facility.

Just watch your coolant and oil level daily for the next week or so. If any milky residue appears on the inside of the cap where you add oil, or any oil film builds up on the coolant reservoir, then you might have a problem. Most likely a head gasket has failed.

when oil mixes with coolant it sill stay suspended for a long time. Water and oil don't mix but coolant and oil will due to the chemical properties of the coolant and it can take days to seperate.

Sounds like you might have a bad oil pressure sending unit, however I previously worked at a chrysler garage, and from 99-01 the jeep 4.0 liter engines were notorious for cracked cylinder heads which allowed the coolant to mix with the engine oil, if your not using any coolant this probably isnt your problem however if you have been adding coolant to you jeep for awhile its bad news because the coolant mixing with your oil has worn out the camshaft bearings causing excessive oil clearances which shows up when your engine is hot and the engine is unable to maintain oil pressure because if the oil clearances being so great.....

Oil in water could be a leak at the cylinder head gasket. Oil pressure is much higher than coolant pressure so oil will more readily push into water passageways than vice versa. The other alternative you have hit on is that it could be a leak from the transmission oil cooler pipes. Check that the pipes enter the bottom of the radiator> It may be that the oil is cooled by an entirely independent cooler rad in which case there is no opportunity for transmission oil to ever come in contact with the coolant. The check the first possibility, from cold start the car with the coolant filler cap removed. Is the coolant agitated, ignition gases are just as likely as oil to blow past the gasket. Next have the coolant system pressure tested at a garage. They will be able to monitor coolant pressure throughout the duty cycle of the engine: no pressure at cold rising to about 7lbs per sqinch when hot. If the coolant pressure spikes to 15lb or more when cold this is sign of oil or combustion gas pressure ingress. If this detected, at best a new gasket is required and maybe a new cylinder head (if cracked).

head gasket or cracked head (:-() is most likely, but you could be lucky. Take a few plugs out to see if they have coolant on them. Also look for coolant in the oil and vice versa.

OK, anytime oil gets into the cooling system or vice versa, there's a strong possibility that there is a leak at the head gasket.

Could have to do with overspeeding the engine.

The cooling system can get up to 14 to 16 psi, enough to burst into the oil lines which run next to the cooling lines in the head and block.

If it's spilling on the front driver's side of the car, then you have some serious problems with this engine.

check for a broken heater hose also a bottom radiator hose and expect it to have a bad head gasket
