What is manufacturers code p1792

Hi

Firstly what country are you in? if in the US the OBD codes are diffeernt from the UK but I know both issues regadless.

Normally in the UK the code is for the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor but I have known people to repair this fault and still have an engine light, normally removing the battery and then reconnectin it 1 hour later does the job " make sure you know your radio code though" also though sometimes you will find the fault is the ECM and you would have to have that programmed at a GM dealer normally thats Vauxhall in the UK.

Get back to me with your country and I will give you further info

Dan

Check engin light on. There are four error codes P0137,P0141,P0342, and P1792. How do I fix it. Will I pass inspection with these codes?

P0137 Error code Faulty O2 sensor Exhaust leak near the rear sensor
  • Plugged catalyst
  • Short to voltage on O2 signal circuit
  • High resistance or open on O2 signal circuit
Possible Solutions
  • Replace faulty sensor
  • Repair exhaust leak near the rear sensor
  • Check for restriction in catalyst and replace as necessary
  • Repair short, open, or high resistance on o2 signal circuit
P0141 Error code means Downstr Heated Oxygen Sensor Heater circuit fault - Bank No. 1.

- replacement is needed for this issue.

P0342 Error code means Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Low Input

P1792 Error code means P1792 means the computer isnt properly programmed so if this code keeps comming back the pcm may need to be replaced

CHRYSLER CONCORDE WITH DIAGNOSTIC CODES P1768 AND P1792

P1768 MEAN TRANSMISSION RELAY ALWAYS OFF..WAS UNABLE TO FIND P1792..IF PROBLEM STARTED AFTER HEADS WERE DONE..LOOK CLOSELY AT AT ENGINE MAIN WIRING CONNECTORS AND GROUND CONNECTIONS THAT ARE ON ENGINE..LOOK FOR GROUND EYELETS NOT SECURED OR LOOSE..LOOK FOR ANY PINCHED WIRING AS WELL..MAKE SURE NO SPREAD TERMINALS IN CONNECTORS AS WELL..YOU CAN ALSO TRY SWAPPING ANOTHER RELAY IN PLACE OF TRANS CONTROL RELAY..MAKE SURE PART NUMBERS MATCH UP..
TCM(NGC)PIN 16 IS TRS T3 SENSE CIRCUIT..PIN 17 IS NOT USED...HAS TO DO WITH TRANS RANGE SENSOR..I DON'T THINK THIS CAUSING YOUR PROBLEM..
