You didn't specify engine size. However, the starter ( whether it is 4 or 6 cyl ) is located at the front of the engine under the manifold. The starter for the 6cyl motor is slightly easier to change ( .6 of an hour ) as opposed to the 4 cyl at ( 1.3 hours )
Ok, those systems might still work because the not require as much energy as the starter. Check the Battery Voltage with a good Voltmeter. If below 12, there might be your problem!
NOT SURE WHAT SIZE MOTOR YOU HAVE? 4 CYL ITS LOCATED FRONT OF CAR LOWER. IF ITS 6 CYL ITS LOCATED EITHER IN FRONT LOWER OF MOTOR OR REAR LOWER OF ENGINE. TOWARDS THE DRIVERS SIDE
1st to do, disconnect the battery and remove, also remove battery support , the starter is located between engine and transm. behind battery, now disconnect 2 wires from starter , loose 2 bolts 14mm wrench and starter will fall in your hand , note this procedure is for 4 cyl model , 6 cyl engine same
generally you will have tp access the starter from under neath. it may be located on the right side next to the trany or on the left side closer to the left wheel.if you have an under carriage gard you will need to remove it. good luck.
You mean it wont even crank at all? When you turn the key on is there anything you hear like when you try and start it doe's the starter try and engage?
