How do I replace the cabin filter

Hello there.

I found this

Ford F150 cabin air filter location. From year 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008.

Here you can find how to locate Ford F150 pollen filter when you need to replace.

Cabin air filter on Ford F150 is located inside the car on the passenger side.

If is first time when you change this filter you need to following this work procedure.

1.Remove the plastic panel (see in picture) for a easier access.

2.Install the plastic onto cabin air filter housing cover and use screw to hold this on position.

I have a 2002 F150 supercrew with a loose oil pressure sensor wire hanging next to the oil filter. The light on the gauge on the dash stays on because of this loose wire. Where do I hook ot back up? ...

I looked at info for f150--5.4L engine. Is this what you have?

Were is the cabin air filter located in a F150 supercrew 2001?

Behind the glove box on the passenger side. There are 2 ( or 4?? ) screws that hold the cover on.

Some just lay on the floor, others will drop the glove box ( open, and push in the stops to let the box drop all the way down ) to see what you are doing from above.

my 2002 ford f150 4.2 would not hold idle so we changed the fuel pump and fuel filter and relay now the truck starts holds idle runs good at low rpm but when i stomp it it runs then stalls and picks up again.

Were is the cabin airfilter on 2002 ford f150

cabin air filter is an optional dealer install item. If dealer installed, the kit had the directions. If one is already installed it will be under right side of dash in the HVAC housing. Remove lower tim panel to access housing/filter

sounds like lack of fuel momentarily / check your fuel pump/filter. good luck

If you are talking about the cabin air filter, this filters the outside air for the HVAC.
Hastings Filter (#AF1057) shows one for the 97-03 MY trucks.

Remove the screws that hold the horizontal filter housing cover from behind the glove box (no need to open the glove box);

Pull the cabin filter straight down (sits vertical behind the glove box inside the housing).

Install replacement and reattach the cover.
