If the transmission is full of fluid, then the lock up solenoid is bad or the filter needs to be replaced & have the bands adjusted, or the speed sensor isnt calibrated due to over size tires

Dodge charger wont go over 35 mph

I have a 2007 Dodge Charger won't go over 35-40 mph and once you get up to that speed it jumps back and forth and when you start it and put it in gear to go it jumps real hard. My mechanic and a transmission specialist said it was a bad tranny I bought a used tranny and the used one wouldn't even shift into gear so now putting another tranny and another computer system in it. Does anyone know anything else it could be I'm so tired of this vehicle

AT 45 MPH MY AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS SEEMS TO SLIP, RPMS GO UP AND DOWN. WHEN I REACH 50 MPH, IT STOPS. I HAVE A 1999 RAM 2500 WITH A CUMMINS

If it's got more than 80 thou on it join the thousands of others with this same truck at the tranny shop listening to their $200 price and think if you can sell it off before it goes plumb out

1999 Dodge Ram van 1500 no pick up power

I had a similiar problem on my 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 Conversion Van. It ended up being a partial collapse of the catalytic converter which didn't allow adequate exhaust. The problem only showed itself because I could not get over 55 mph going up a small hill.
