    Updated info:
    1. unhooking battery did not help
    2. Door locks work with door switches, just not keyfob
    3. Doors lock/unlock automatically (as programmed) with car in and out of park
    4. Rear hatch does not open with outside button or key fob
    5. rear wiper and washer system does not operate

The problem turned out to be in the wiring harness to the hatch. I unplugged the wiring harness connector to the hatch and reconnected. Everything started working.

    No further action needed.

This is something that the dealer may have to reprogram. If you do not have an Owner's handbook, please feel free to let me know so I can get one to you. Do you have a display on your instrument panel saying "Battery low"? This is an indicator oif the key fob battery being low. Also if you had to stand real close as of late to get it to respond, it is an indication of the key fob battery low. Let me know.

Sounds like body computer is malfunctioning or the module that controls the door locks lost it's program.Disconnect the battery for few minutes then reconnect and check. In some cases this resets the system computer and all starts working. But if that does not helps then problem has to be checked with the power door lock system.Either a power door lock actuator or the power door lock switch. Usually the most common problems with power door locks are the actuators. They are small electric motors used to lock and unlock the car doors when activated by a switch or remote. Like any electric motor sooner or later it will fail. Replacing an actuator involves removing the interior door panel for access. Some are part of the door latch and some are independent.
Either way, door lock actuators need to be replaced if they are buzzing, working only in one mode or are not working at all. if the problem is with the door lock actuator or just the switch. If a All the door locks, only work when locking and NONE of them work to unlock, then the switch is most likely the cause.

Thanks. Keep updated for any more query. You can rate this solution and show your appreciation

but lock inside locks fail (elect. buttons)
driver and shotguns side both fail, lock sw?
ext, mirrors dead.
door looks in the service manual has 5 pages of schematics, is well advised to read that first
not scanning the PCM/BCM first is never good.
oK if the speed sensor on the car fails, doors will act up. (for sure if it see car moving and is not)
the radio receiver (fob) works mostly
Fuse MIR /LKS must not be blown door buttons fail
why not check all fuses, save work and not need books to fix it if a fuse blew.?(underhood box)
IP fuse PWR/LKS not blown
the BCM runs the 3 Door lock relays
possibles
Fuse MIR /LKS blown 3amps
this kill local door power to LF and RF door swithes dead. and Rear glass to. the relay board does not fail with fobs. is the key fact.
your post is not clear on all for doors.
or LF an RF door switches. but assumed both are dead, me.
so it is just blown fuse.
we always check fuse first. a 20 cent part.

Back hatch won~t open with remote or inside door locks will open manually nothing stuck or jammed?

Found this wiring diagram for lift gate, if that is what we're talking about? Not only check the fuses, check fuse circuit for voltage. Use a testlite.

2005 chevy trailblazer ext back hatch lock is engaged and will not open leaving the door unable to close

Open the hatch and slip a screwdriver's shaft into the opening of the latch (simulating that the latch has engaged the metal bar on the floor of the SUV). Apply pressure in the latch via the shaft of the screwdriver. While pulling against the latch, operate the unlock button of the fob or unlock with the key (whichever your truck has). When it is unlocked the latch will allow the screwdriver to open the jaws of the latch and pull through them. The latch jaws should now be open and you should be able to close the hatch and have it latch and lock.

Doors dont lock with secrity fob

The receiver for the fobs is located in the rear hatch, and it needs to be reprogrammed to the fobs. Try the following procedure;

1. Close all the vehicle doors.
2. Insert the ignition key into the ignition lock cylinder.
3. Press and hold the door unlock switch.
4. While holding the door lock switch in the unlock position, cycle
the ignition ON, OFF, ON, OFF.
5. Release the door unlock switch. The doors will lock and unlock to
confirm the program mode.
6. Press and hold the LOCK button and the UNLOCK button
simultaneously on one transmitter. After a delay of approximately 15
seconds, the doors will lock and unlock to confirm the programming of
that transmitter.
7. Repeat the previous step to program up to four transmitters.
8. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position in order to exit the
keyless entry transmitter mode.
9. Operate the transmitter functions in order to verify correct
system operation.

2004 Chevy trailblazer. Power windows & locks dont work on driver side front controls. Have all ready removed and replaced control cluster on arm rest. All other wondows work at the respective door,...

Sounds like a fuse. Are you getting power to the driver door module (control cluster as you say). Below are 3 pictures for you. The first one is the location where the fuse box is located for that fuse (under drivers seat in the rear). The second picture is a diagram or the latout of the fuses. The fuse you want to check is the fuse marked "LT DOORS" or the one marked 02. It should be a 25 amp fuse. The 3rd picture is a wiring diagram for the circuit. If the fuse isn't blown check the power wire from the fuse box to the driver door control module. Sounds like a power issue. Anymore questions or diagrams that you need, feel free to email me at [email protected] and I should have and will send if you need anything else. I hope this helps and good luck.
