If it will not pull out in the ignition lock position, remove the trim from around the ignition cylinder, and remove the shifter linkage that connects to the ignition (don't remove the transponder ring). This is a common problem on all cars. That part wears out all the time. You don't need to buy a new one, just leave it off. (by the way, I'm a master locksmith in denver)
