Probably a naked wire touching frame. CK all wires as much as possible especially the back side of wires. if you find exposed copper wire just wrap electrical tape around it.

2003 Buick LeSabre. I have no tail lights, but have all the other lights. Can a bad switch cut off just tail light?

It could be the switch. Check this though that I found

Wire broken in wire harness that follows right rear trunk arm. It is a common problem.

Hey,I have an 03 chevy s10,I recently tried putting a pig tail on it (straight wired) and had no luck, gave up and crimped all the wire back together, and today a guy at work noticed I had no taillights,but...

I would check your tail light fuse first then test the brown wire in the tail light harness where you origionally cut into it. With the lights on there should be around 12v on it. if not you may have pulled the wire too hard and broke it upstream. Test to see if there is 12v at the fuse ad if there is, your trouble should be in the wire between the fuse and the spot where you cut into it.

Someone cut tail light wire and i need to know how to fix it

If you can see the cut wires then simply join the same color coordinating wires with a crimping style wire connector that you can purchase from WalMart or any auto parts store. Make sure and strip the plastic casing around the wires on both ends before using the wire connector. After the connector has been crimped to both wires, wrap electrical tape around the connector to seal off from water.

Tail light/dash lights out

You probably have a bare wire at the back of your car that is shorting out on the frame, or against another bare wire.

Right brake light out; tail light works fine

most rear tail lights and turn/stop lights are the same dual filiment bulb. it is possible for your tail light to work and your brake light not to and still have a bad bulb. I would check the bulb first, your brake light works on the left yes? this would mean that the fuse is fine
