When I try to start the car, I here a clicking noise. I checked the battery and it was 100% charged and good. What else could be causing this problem?

There are 2 things that may be the issue.
1. You may have a weak ground connection. Check your battery cable connections at the battery, and on the body and starter. Make sure the connections are clean and tight.

2. You may have a bad starter solenoid. You may need to replace the starter.

I hope this help you, and I wish you luck on your repair.

Clicking noise near battery when trying to start?

It's pretty hard to tell without knowing what kind of vehicle you have, but common things to check would be is the battery fully charged? Is the cables free of corrosion and tight? Is the starter good? The clicking could be a starter relay or solenoid engaging as it should, but something is preventing the voltage from getting to the starter, or there is an issue with the starter itself.

WHAT IS THE LIKELY CAUSED OF A LOUD SQUEALING NOISE COMING FROM THE ALTERNATOR SERPENTINE DRIVE BELT SYSTEM ? IS IT THE ALTERNATOR OR SERPENTINE BELT?

serpentine belt is getting old and hard and the cold weather was causing it to slip
check belt condition ( small cracks across the grooves = scrap and get a new one) and check tension

Car wont turn over and making a humming noise when key is in on position. when i try to start it the car makes a clicking sound.

the alternator isn't charging battery that would account for loss of power and also clicking when try to start , try a jump start if it starts then you know its the battery so with engine running check the alternator charge rate with a voltmeter across the battery terminals anything below 13 volts then check the alternator belt is tight enough , good condition etc , then recheck charge rate if still low fit new alternator

I have an audi 100 cs quattro. My battery is good but my engine won't turn over. Could it be my starter?

How do you know your battery is good? A common mistake is to assume that if the lights, radio, etc, work that the battery must be good. A lot more energy is required to start the engine than is required for the accessories. If your battery isn't in great shape it won't turn the engine over.

Assuming you've checked that. Can you describe what happens when you try to start the car? Is there ANY noise? Clicking sound maybe? Could be the starter if you hear a buzzing noise (or no noise, assuming you do have a good battery).

Car won't start without being charged and when it sits overnight it wont start. makes a clicking noise when trying to start it

Battery is to weak & not holding charge. If the battery does not have enough power the starter will make a fast clicking sound or you will just hear one click.

What is causing the clicking noise when i try 2 start my car

If all you hear is a clicking noise when attempting to start your car it could be caused from a weak battery (from a battery failure or because the alternator failed to charge the battery) or a faulty starter.

My freestyle won't start, it just clicks, then all the electronics start making noise.

Check and make sure you have good clean connections at the battery. This means remove cables and clean with a wire brush. If still no start check battery itself and replace if needed. If battery had to be replaced check the charging system so that you know that there is not a problem with the alternator that caused the battery to go bad. If the battery was fine and charged, and the car still just clicks the starter may be bad . Check and make sure the grounds are good and check starter and replace if needed. This should solve your problem.

1st thing to check is the battery. The clicking noise can be caused by a battery that isn't being charged properly (alternator problem), or most likely a battery that's reached the end of it's lifespan. How old is the battery? Have it checked at a parts store, it should be a free service, as they hope to sell what u need to fix it. Let me know what u find. good luck! countrycurt0
