Depends on what filter you are after. The fuel filter should be located on the drivers side frame rail under the front door area. The air filter is located in the air box under the hood, and the oil filter is located under the engine.
04 is the split year for the fuel filter (early04 had them, late 04 did not). If you have one it will under the truck on the driver side next to the trans crossmember on the frame rail.
it could be alot of things...you could start by routine maintnence( new spark plugs, spark plug wires, air filter, oil change, the in line fuel filter) also take into consideration what kind of gas you are using...i know it sucks spending $100 a week in gas with your AWD 6.0 liter V-8...but if ur not running premium it could very well be your problem. I have also heard of the denali's having oxygen sensor issues...is it throwing a check engine code?
